Nice place

The staff was great and the concept is fun. I ordered the Sweet Potato Hash. My review is based solely on the "hash." While I thought the flavor profile and combination of ingredients were very good, the sweet potatoes and cauliflower were cut into very large chunks. The menu says hash, I was envisioning a actual hash with much smaller diced cuts of ingredients. The cauliflower was too large to eat in one or two bites. Since a knife was not provided, the size of the vegetables made it a challenge to enjoy this meal. I would also suggest two eggs to accompany the dish. Unfortunately, I left feeling unsatisfied by the sweet potato hash. That said, I will be back and try a different dish. I'm leaving this review in hopes that the hash actually becomes a hash in the future.

One of my favorite places to eat or pick up an excellent grab n go snack or meal option! Everything is top notch and full of flavor. I am particularly addicted to their Green Goddess dressing/dip!

My wife and I ordered for pickup. I ordered the Stockyard which is stated to come w/ steak, a broccoli/kale mix and mashed potatoes. Instead I received (very little) sliced steak, white rice and curry-flavored cauliflower. Not only did I not receive what I ordered, but for $15+, it was an extreme rip-off (see photo in photo section). My wife and I order from here frequently, but that will change if we continue to receive substitute items we didn’t order nor want.

I really love this place when I have time on my side. A quick salad isn’t possible unfortunately here - as I’ve tried to crunch in a grab and go twice for a basic garden salad and had to just leave both times after waiting over 20 min. Love it otherwise!

Great place for quality food and chill vibe. Personally, I love the salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries on the side. In the morning, the sweet potato hash with onions, cauliflower, egg and chimichurri is off the hook.

I’m always beyond impressed every time I come to Caffetteria. The food is amazing and fresh. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 23 years and I’m blown away with every visit. The curbside is amazing and I’ve been loving your out door seating. On top of the amazing food the staff is always friendly and helpful. Its my new favorite spot!!

I would like to give them a 3.5 or 3.75 I just don’t think it’s entirely 4... We arrived at 9:01 and put in an order for two types of toast peanut butter toast and avocado toast... We used to live in Prairie Village so it’s always a nice getaway from out south... My husband had a 930 appointment so we thought by ordering toast that would be the easiest fastest thing to have... We were mistaken ...it took 21 minutes for the toast to get to our table... Which by that time he had already left to his appointment and I ate alone and took his toast to go. The owner was very nice about it...which was great! The bummer was I love the vibe ...I love the Look of the place ...the Toast tasted good ... I guess we’ll just have to give it another try when we have more time!

Every time we order pickup from here, we include our food allergies, and every time it gets ignored. Won’t be ordering from here any longer

Local cafe with a wide variety of fresh, delicious food, gracious service, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Wonderful Lunch.. My first time there, had lunch with my wife and our son who had been there many times. Enjoyed the Hollywood Bowl which was great make sure to try the Curry sauce as well. The Fish Sandwich my wife had looked great but she would not share.

Lovely place to have lunch with my friends. They have a lot on the menu. The polynesian poke bowl tasted fresh. I saw others have sandwich with seeet potato fries and pizza. I will try next time because they looked good.

Forgot about our food order, had to wait around an hour. Would not refund or anything.

I had an excellent in this place. We liked the first-rate environment and the meals. The staff members were super personal. I am content we ultimately managed to visit here.

Modern, healthy, fast food, mostly variety of "bowls" prices reflect that. Good place to dine solo.

Have tried many items on the menu and have enjoyed every single one. Some of my favorites include the breakfast pizza, village club, salmon poke bowl and Hollywood bowl. This is easily my go to spot in Prairie Village.

Everything is delicious

Good food overall. Disappointed that the Overnight Oats didn’t list Peanut Butter as an ingredient. Was looking for forward to it after being assured the assorted nuts didn’t have peanuts then got a bowl lined with peanut butter. Should be advertised. Kind of a big thing.

Interesting restaurant concept with interesting food choices. I thought the prices were a bit expensive, but my salad was good.

Love love love the fresh nutrient dense food here. Currently I have an issue with the to-go size portion of bowl of soup- basically it's needing 2 containers vs one or start offering a larger container? Also can Caffetteria please start using compostable to-go and other serving products? Would match the theme of health and wellness you have going on. Thank you

Quality joint

Had a phenomenal lunch here today with a friend. We were there mid afternoon so it was more quiet. I had the sunny side up bowl, which has an eclectic combination of ingredients that you wouldn’t think work together but they totally do. We also tried the chips and Greek goddess dressing which was great. Definitely want to go back!

Amazing food, great service, great menu, very clean eating. We have eaten here at least 20 times and we always feel great afterwards and literally everything on the menu is delicious

Great food!

Just received a $7 “bowl” of soup - half full - and was charge $1 for crackers. Interesting crackers and a roll are free at MIXX but here you have to pay for them. I am once again reminded of the mediocre overpriced food and this time will remember not to eat here again.

I'm so thrilled we stopped here. The menu options are almost TOO extensive but I guess that ensures anyone can find the perfect option. I had the Polynesian Poke Bowl and it was beyond expectations. My mom tried one of the salads and loved it. We shared a cup of potato leek soup and fought over the last bites.

Good espresso and I enjoyed the breakfast pizza, but buyer beware, it is a regular (good) pizza with two fried eggs on top - nothing magical, well there was bacon! Maybe we were expecting something different for "breakfast pizza." Now you know. =)

A great, healthy menu. Nice atmosphere. They also have some gifty items for purchase. I had the Southwest Crunch Salad which was delicious. Also tried the Potato Leek soup. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Has outdoor dining.

Perhaps the trick is to dine in... Each and every single time my husband and I order take out we are first greeted by a person who seemingly hates their job and is annoyed we are calling. Very unpleasant, rude and curt. Sadly it doesn’t end there. It usually isn’t until we are home and eating that we realize that in some way our order wasn’t correct. We can’t think of a time this hasn’t happened. The two stars are for the food alone because it’s truly the only reason we even consider going back. Great food, consistently terrible takeout experience.

A huge selection of healthy food with just enough flavor to be delicious but not overpowering. The restaurant itself has a very fun and comfortable atmosphere. To top it off, very reasonable prices. My husband and I are making this a new regular place!

VERY disappointed in the quality of the salad I ordered to go last night. Menu stated "wild field greens, romaine" what I received was either iceberg or the pale ends of romaine lettuce not a field green to be seen in the container. The quality of their food has not been consistent since they opened.

Excellent! Fresh, gourmet tastes and production. Finally a very good cafeteria in kansas city. I put only one star down because is pricey. I hope more good restaurants and cafes like this will opening in Kansas, especially in Overland Park. I'm so tired of chicken parmesan or shrimp linguine.

The food & staff here are so great! The pizzas are all great, the sandwiches are great & the dinners that you build from chicken, steak, & lamb are great as well. Love the "stubborn soda". Pineapple Cream Soda is the greatest!

Wow! Creative, healthy, delicious, family-friendly, and fairly priced

Large, open spaces are often the design choice for new restaurants but this results in louder spaces. This restaurant must be recognized for its great acoustic design. You can have a conversation with your tablemate while enjoying excellent food and good service.

A little over priced but fresh food and friendly service

The lamb sandwich was excellent the first time I had it. Unfortunately every time I've gone back it has changed, and not for the better. Last time it came as some sort of wrap?!

Atmosphere is relax but, Over price for fast food though.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It's surprising that it is a walk-up, more casual cafe with high quality foods and coffee. They have tons of meal options, and my friends really likes it because she has a very restricted diet and they have quite a few options she can eat. I got a tuna poke bowl, it had great flavor. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is I paid almost $16 for a meal....a great meal, but that's pretty pricey!
